For me coffee tables and/or dining tables = HOME. If you know me, the word home is a very big of a deal.
One of the reasons why I love the comedy series FRIENDS. Most of the episodes from my all time favorite sitcom (I love How I Met gang but Friends will always be my favorite) where shot at Monica and Rachel's then it become Monica and Chandler's apartment. Remember this?
I love the mismatched dining set J Simple, symbolizing different personalities of the characters all sharing one table. I want that for myself! J
Pero I don't have my own place yet, so I'll just pin that in my vision board muna.
But I can help look for table for two inspirations. Table for two-s (yes that is how I will call the set) are my comfort spaces. Tambay sessions in coffee shop will always be on a table for two (well you can actually squeeze in 2 more seats so there could be 4 cups of coffee on the tableJ)

Simple. That classic feeing. |
CUTE! Artistic! Felt like a table from a taverna in Santorini. For outdoors summer chilling maybe?J Source |
I love white + red/blue/black color combinations.
Sunday brunch is what I see here.

Red and blue playful set if you ask me J Source |

I think this one is closer to my reality. I am thinking of becoming a minimalist (dahil ito sa binabaha na kami sa loob ng bahay) J I imagine small talks over tea and cookies happening here... Source |
I could go on and on with all the sets. Boy, I sure do miss sitting and being on that table for two. Then it hit me, I miss my coffee afternoons. Saturdays are ME time and ME time means coffee afternoons, well that was before I enrolled in graduate school when I was still employed and can afford all those cups of coffee around the metro. Now, my coffee afternoons are replaced with iced teas and mini burgers (will post pictures about it soon).
I want to go back to those days. I will soon. *evil grin that comes with a cute evil plan*
Will it be something like...
Table for two by the window is very common this rainy season. Oooh, coffee + rain = J |
Now I am on my quest for that round table (coffee) experience..

merci merci
PS saw this coffee table while looking for inspirations..
A mixtape coffee table!
Well since it does not play different music/songs, it's just a cassette tape coffee table.
