the one with the luto-lutuan of my dreams

After meriendads with neyko's friends last Tuesday, we stopped by Toy Kingdom as requested by the youngest member of the group - my cute inaanak JeAn!!! (derived from his parents name JErome and ANgeli; pronounced gian).

Sooo cute!

"ernie" smile parin sya! Just realized, we have something in common --
love for TRAINS!!

Aww. Things in the eyes of a child. But there's another thing that caught my eye.

Alam mo ba ang kung ano to?

The curious cow in me said "go check it out"..

Sirit? It's a toy refrigerator! As in laruan pambata! Grabe. But wait there's more..

About the same height of the fridge that I checked.
Para makumpleto ang set up na ito..

Wooden play tea set! Waaaah..
Wooden sushi pieces -- shocks, bakit wala nito ng bata ako!!!

Grabe!

As in everything in the photo, hihilingin ko sa kanila! What more for the dreamy bongga set diba?

But those luto-utuan pieces reminded me of my childhood..

Growing up with 2 barako older brothers for siblings was one of the cons during my childhood years. Even if I was the only girl, I had hand me down stuffed toys and robots for toys.

Hindi uso ang barbie doll, dressing up, make up, polly pockets o rainbow brite sa bahay namin. But then again, maybe, dun nagsimula ang pagiging foodie ko; pagiging passionate ko about food and culture, sa simpleng luto-lutuan. Watchatink?

I was running like a kid when I saw those toy kitchens in Toy Kingdom. I told myself: If I won the  lottery or for a some twist of fate I became one filthy rich girl, will assemble one kitchen set for myself! Waaaaah dreams...

Ooh, I almost forgot that we also saw this wooden doll house and furniture set as well.

Oh no. I won't start with this one. It's like the luto-lutuan set all over again..

merci merci..
